It is important to know that the word Leader is taken from “Lead” or” Leading” As a leader, you must know where you’re leading the people of God. You are not yet a leader if you do not know and are not sure of where you’re leading people. What settles this is the Clear and inspiring “VISION”
2. Ability to Share the Vision:
Possessing a vision is not enough; leaders must effectively communicate and share their vision with the team, ensuring everyone understands and buys into the mission. It is important to know that it takes time for people to follow you. Until you are able to adequately communicate your vision with your followers they will not follow you.
3. Courage in Times of Discouragement:
Leadership often brings challenges and setbacks. Resilience and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of discouragement are vital. You could remember what happened in 1 Samuel 30:1-20. When Amalakites invaded David’s camp in Ziklag and went with all they had including the wives and children. In verse 6, the word of God says “….. And David encouraged himself in the lord” This was what gave him and his followers Victory over the Amalekites. So be courageous and have a positive attitude irrespective of the situation.
